H&I Learning Day:
The NYCASC H&I Subcommittee is hosting a FREE Learning Day on Saturday, June 15 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm at 154 Christopher Street. If you are curious about what H&I service is all about, if you want to learn more about how we do it in the New York City Area, if you are looking to get involved, or if you want to support your fellow recovering addicts who will be there doing service all day, please come down. There are a variety of H&I-related topics that will be lead by Narcotics Anonymous speakers from many locations – all with H&I experience.
If you are new to H+I this is a great chance to learn especially at the regular committee meeting (which happens to be every second Sunday at 1pm at 154 Christopher Street — all are welcome). If you think you already know what you need to know about H&I, then why not come down and be there to share your knowledge with those who are learning and help carry the NA message.
Flyers will be coming out soon, if they are not out already. However, feel free to let people know also.
The NYCASC H&I Subcommittee is selling short-sleeve H&I T-Shirts at the Learning Day on June 15. For those who want to purchase them, they are being sold for $13. All of the proceeds are being given back to the NYC Area to help fund our Area so that we can continue to carry the NA message (which is Hope, as the shirts say). We sold long-sleeve T-Shirts last year, so this year we are selling short-sleeve T-Shirts with the same design. A few pictures are here: Pic1, Pic2, Pic3
If you have any questions, please contact any of the NYCASC H&I Trusted Servants or come to the next Subcommittee Meeting on Saturday, June 8 at 1:00 pm at 154 Christopher Street.
